Our client is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a role based in Luxembourg. This is a full-time contract role that would require you to be onsite. Please see below for more details.

• Comments: As the title suggests, we are looking for a Project manager with BI experience/knowledge. Interest in semantic technology is highly desirable, as one of the projects to be managed will cover this field. Previous knowledge is not necessary, but willingness to learn is mandatory. Also French language knowledge is also a must.

Description

• Project management including proposals for project strategies, planning, definition of tasks and deliverables, review of project deliverables, quality control, risk analysis and management, status reports, problem reporting and management systems, follow up and organisation
• Guide project activities and review deliverables
• Participate in functional and technical working groups and progress meetings
• Estimate costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful completion of each project to agreed terms of reference.
• Prepare and maintain project and quality plans and tracks activities against the plan, provide regular and accurate reports
• Monitor costs, timescales and resources used, and take action where these deviate from agreed tolerances. Ensure that delivered systems are implemented within these criteria
• Manage the change control procedure gaining agreement for revisions to the project from project sponsors
• Give presentations
• System management

Requirements

• University degree of at least 3 years in a relevant subject
• Project Management certification will be an advantage
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Project Management
• Strong technical skills and thorough understanding in digital solutions or a related technical field
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills combining the project management role with the business skills required for a project requirement gathering
• Previous hands-on experience with reporting software like BO, Power BI or BPM software like Aris is an advantage
• Advance user most of the office automation software and with a willingness to learn, proactively mediate between the business and IT, challenge the status quo and propose and implement improvements.
• Knowledge of Outlook, Ares, Word, Adobe Acrobat etc.; previous usage of SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, e-Request is a definite advantage
• Good knowledge of English (Level B2 – Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
• Working knowledge of French necessary for effectively interacting with all stakeholders
• Interest in semantic technology is highly desirable, as one of the projects to be managed will cover this field. Previous knowledge is not necessary, but willingness to learn is mandatory.
