Business Analyst – Brussels

I am seeking a bi-lingual ( French & English ) Business Analyst for a long term contract assignment with an International client in Brussels. This project may last up to 5 years. The work is to be carried out on-site at the customer premises in Brussels.

If selected as the Business Analyst your tasks and responsibilities will include the following:

▪ Analysis of Business requirements.

▪ Documentation of Business requirements.

▪ Business model analysis.

▪ Business process analysis

▪ Business processes modelling.

▪ Functional requirements and business cases analysis.

▪ Risk analysis.

▪ Assistance in Business cases, Vision documents, Project Charters and Security Plans.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree at a related field
    At least 15 years of experience in IT
  • At least 5 years of expertise in Business Analysis.
    Specific expertise with good knowledge of information systems matters.
  • Specific expertise with good knowledge of large organization administrative business processes.
  • Specific expertise with good knowledge of analysis and modelling tools and techniques (e.g., use case diagrams, state diagrams, entity relationship models, interaction diagrams).
  • Specific expertise with good knowledge of BPMN, UML, or other equivalent modelling standards.
  • Specific expertise with good knowledge of Wiki and collaborative sites.
  • Specific expertise with knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., RUP, Agile, Prince2, PM2).

At least 2 certifications of any of the above are required.

▪ Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, excellent communicator.

▪ Capability of working in an international/ multicultural environment.

▪ Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting

capability and experience in working in team;

▪ Ability to participate in multilingual meetings;

▪ Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects;
