Cybersecurity Awareness Specialist
My International client is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to help develop a mature cybersecurity culture and awareness among various categories of users within the organisation. This is a short term contract assignment ( 30 days but possibly extendable ) The work should be carried out in Brussels with the possibility of some travel to Luxembourg
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Draft notes and communications to various categories of end-users related to the secure usage of ICT systems;
- Coordinate the preparation and execution of phishing simulations throughout the organisation;
- Elaborate reports and presentations of the awareness program activities;
- Do risk assessment and provide recommendations in relation with the human factor of cybersecurity.
- Elaborate demos and visuals to raise cybersecurity awareness;
- Work with the Communication and Training Departments for building various communication and promotion materials;
- Prepare and lead cybersecurity awareness lectures, demos, webinars, workshops;
- Moderate online communities and collaborative spaces;
- Contribute in building capabilities to better measure the reach and effectiveness of the awareness program.
- Oversee the execution of the annual cybersecurity awareness plan.
- Ensure stakeholders’ coordination.
- Write publications and guidance for various categories of ICT systems users.
Required skills and experience
- Master’s level degree + At least one ICT Security professional certification is also required
- At least 6 years of professional relevant experience.
- Previous experience in running cybersecurity awareness activities and defining strategic plans for cybersecurity awareness
- Knowledge and experience in preparing and running phishing simulations using commercial or open-source tools;
- Experience with Risk assessments
- Knowledge and experience in identifying and evaluating cybersecurity risks associated with the human factor.
- Proven communication skills and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with preparing lectures, demos, webinars, workshops
- Fluency in English, good command of French is an asset.
