My client is a well know EU Institution based in Brussels. They are seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager for a long contract assignment with real possibilities of extensions.

Job Description

Ensuring the good operational condition of the Data Centre

Overseeing the integration aspects of the IT infrastructure

Support the projects related to IT networking and network security

Contribute to the design of networking, computing, storage and security services and components

Participate to the drafting or review of proposals for IT architecture governance and organisational evolution

Review, investigate and recommend IT solutions

Acting as the backup to the Program Manager or being the backup of the main PM

Qualifications

• University Degree (at least 4 year duration)
• 13 years of minimum IT experience
• Extensive experience (more than 10 years) with large scale complex IT systems architecting, data and business process modelling, development, deployment and operation
• Extensive experience (more than 10 years) with Service Delivery and Operations, preferably in a complex corporate environment with outsourced IT and structured organizations
• Broad experience in networking, excellent technical expertise and practical experience of a duration of at least 15 years in the architecture and project management related to enterprise-level Networking and IT Security infrastructure; this includes 5 years minimum in the specific area of CISCO LAN and WAN networking technologies, processes and projects. Such experience should be matured in complex and structured organization with outsourced services and proven with practical activities.
• Extensive experience in project management supported by a well-established project management certification e.g: PMI, PM2, PM2-Agile, Prince2
• Recent experience with Project Management tools (such as MS Project, Word, Excel and Visio)
• Knowledge of ITIL, COBIT or other IT organizational related frameworks, and the basic IT processes (e.g. Service Management and Operations)

• Excellent English speaking and writing skills
• Good French speaking and writing skills
