Infrastructure Project Manager

My client is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager for a long term contract assignment based in Strasbourg, France.

Description

• Interpret relevant application development, operations and infrastructure implications of developed solution;
• Assess and optimise IT Infrastructure, IT operations and service delivery;
• Monitor and manage technical client relationships and status of ongoing engagements;
• Implement infrastructure maintenance routines and schedules;
• Able to support in the definition and assessment of ICT needs of the European Institution to be established;
• Develop and IT strategy and portfolio;
• Advise to customers/ stakeholders on strategic orientation for installed and future product portfolio;
• Provide technical lead and coordination among technical teams;
• Involvement in ITIL strategy, design and/ or continual service improvement phases;
• Work with other practice areas and provide subject matter expertise related to IT infrastructure systems;
• Assist in the design of and Project Management for implementation new technologies; and
• Business development activities including develop project scope definition, work plans and proposals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant education (bachelor or equivalent)after the secondary school & minimum 10 years of experience in relevant industry business practice, business consulting or technical consulting required;
• Experience with Security, application technology stacks, middleware and infrastructure related matters is required;
• Ability to produce high level documentation and reporting to official stakeholders is required;
• Project Management (PMP, Prince2) are desirable but not mandatory;
• Knowledge of design and implementation of the processes, procedures and operational management associated with high levels of network availability and risk management will be an asset;
• Experience in data networking technologies including protocols, design, security and business continuity preferred;
• Experience implementing and supporting or consulting on IT Infrastructure desired;
• Experience in working with outsourcing teams and horizontal coordination for the delivery of services;
