Our international financial client seeks a Business Resilience Project Lead / Project Manager to join their business resilience department, which has the mission to prevent, detect, respond and recover from operational disruptions, limiting the impact on clients and the wider financial markets.
The main tasks will be to deliver the business resilience 2020 projects. The projects will improve the settlement, collateral, cash and banking services. They will also improve the communication to clients. The projects will mainly change the in-house made applications and/or the underlying infrastructure (IBM Mainframe, HP Tandem, Windows or Unix/Linux), middleware or market products.
The candidate will accountable for the delivery of several business resilience projects, collecting business requirements from operations and Commercial divisions, implementing changes through multiple teams not reporting to her/him.

 

The overall responsibility of the project manager includes

 

 

  • Define the scope, budget and plan of several projects
  • Deliver the project scope according to the initial plan, on budget and with the expected quality
  • Comply to methodology in producing documents and reports
  • Indirectly manage teams across various divisions and entities
  • Coordinate multiple parties involved in the projects (All IT divisions, Operations, Banking, Network, Commercial etc) and possibly external providers
  • Maintain design compliance with Architecture principles and recommendations

 

Qualifications

 

  • Several years of proven Project Management experience in IT application and/or infrastructure delivery
  • Experience in managing multiple projects of various sizes in parallel
  • End-to-end management of projects with size varying from 500 to 1,000 mds
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to adapt style according to the context and the people
  • Strong negotiation skills, conflict management and influencing skills at different levels of management
  • Excellent communication skills (listening, writing, and presenting) at all levels, from staff members to senior management level
  • Ability to learn quickly in a complex environment and to synthesize the situation
  • Ability to be a role model showing outstanding drive, commitment and discipline
  • Ability to manage a project plan and budget
  • Ability to identify project risks and solve issues
  • Ability to understand the IT application and infrastructure
  • Have a several years technical experience in with multiple domains mentioned above,
  • Have worked in application development and knowledgeable of IBM MF, Tandem, Windows environment
  • Fluent English
